Methodology
Criteria, integrated official sources, validation rules and limits of the observed base used by the platform.
What the platform observes
The platform observes the regular school psychology provision available in each AE/ENA. For the purposes of this system, the relevant professionals are psychologists whose work in that entity fits the functional profile described in the Referential for the Intervention of Psychologists in School Context. This operational criterion is aligned with Law no. 54/2025 and with the three core domains defined by DGE: psychological support and counselling, development of the educational community's system of relationships, and vocational and career development.
Data provenance
- Authenticated submission: data about service provision, students, psychologists and professional characterization is submitted by psychologists with validated access to the AE/ENA, i.e. professionals whose intervention in that context fits the domains defined in the framework.
- Integrated official measures: TEIP, DGE reference-school networks and UAARE may appear prefilled from official lists currently integrated into the platform.
- Institutional size: the number of school sites may be prefilled from the official administrative base used by the project.
The platform is therefore hybrid: it combines authenticated professional reporting with external official measures already published by public bodies.
Official sources currently integrated
- TEIP4 - DGE list of organisational units admitted to TEIP4 (approved on 16 July 2024).
- DGE reference-school networks (vision, bilingual education and early intervention).
- UAARE - UAARE National School Network.
Validation, revalidation and access scope
- The initial access request is associated with a single AE/ENA.
- After the account is activated, the same person may request additional access to other AE/ENA from the professional dashboard.
- Access is subject to initial administrative validation and periodic revalidation, to ensure that the person remains entitled to report.
Observed base and statistics
Public statistics are calculated only from the observed base, i.e. the set of AE/ENA with public data visible on the platform at a given moment.
The absence of an AE/ENA from the observed base only means that no public data is currently visible for that entity. It does not, by itself, mean that no psychology provision exists.
Limitations and corrections
The platform manages access and version history, but it does not autonomously verify the full material accuracy of every submission. Primary responsibility for reported content remains with the reporting professional.
Errors, omissions or outdated information should be reported to [email protected].
